22. How does the zinc coating corrode in distilled water?

The corrosion of zinc coating in distilled water is not small, which is second only to rain water and slightly higher than soft water. The corrosion rate of zinc coating in distilled water is about 3/4 of that in tap water.
If the distilled water exists on the surface of the zinc layer in the form of a very thin water film, the oxygen content in the water film is the highest, and the corrosion is the most intense.
Generally, the corrosion rate of zinc coating in distilled water is about 50-200 mg/dm2·d.
